GUIDELINES FOR NOMINATION
To be considered for selection, a person must have achieved outstanding performances in motorsport, either as a competitor, official, or in some other capacity recognized as part of the sport.
They have to be recognized as Tasmanian, irrespective of where their performance took place.
They may not necessarily have been Tasmanian-born but must be identified as Tasmanian with at least five years of achievement at the state level or higher as the minimum qualification.
Nominations will be sought from state organizations, clubs, and individuals, and the general public will be invited to submit nominations as well.
Selections will be made from as far back as records allow.
Inductees will generally be made on an annual basis, and the number of inductees will be determined purely by the financial status of the Hall of Fame and the costs of producing appropriate displays and submission of suitable, qualified nominees.
It is desirable for a nominee to have finished competition at the state level or higher for at least two years before being considered for induction.
Individuals or organizations wishing to nominate potential inductees to the Board of Directors must obtain the official nomination form from the Executive Officer, who can also provide a copy of the guidelines and confirm whether the nomination is already on file.
